Lottie M. Mills, 94, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Laurels of Mt. Pleasant.  Lottie was born on November 16, 1920 in Detroit, the daughter of Louis and Katherine (Kryska) Gorski.  On September 12, 1945, she married Lealand W. Mills in Detroit.  Lealand preceded Lottie in death on April 2, 2009.

     Lottie was a member of Sacred Heart Church.  She enjoyed sewing, reading and was a 50 year volunteer at Central Michigan Community Hospital.

     Lottie is survived by her daughter, Debbie Mills; her son, Don Mills; a grandson; three great grandchildren; and two sisters, Flo Aksamit and Vicky Stafanski.

     Funeral services for Lottie will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 from the Rowley Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Fr. Don Henkes, of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiating.  Interment will take place in Memorial Gardens Cemetery next to her husband.  Memorial contributions have been suggested to the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund.  Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
